Description
The Pulsar core Fxd50 thermal Imaging scope/front attachment was born to be versatile, operating either as a monocular or riflescope. This two-in-one concept has been implemented with a modular design so the unit can be easily and quickly Converted from a monocular into a riflescope by interchanging the eyepiece or adding a mount. The core features a 2.8x magnification and a 2x zoom function. As a riflescope, the core features selectable preloaded reticles designed for various weapon types. The core also features “one shot zeroing” mode and “freeze” mode. After taken a shot, the unit makes a screenshot of the display, which helps you match the point of impact with the aiming point. The “picture-in-picture” function allows shooters to see a 2x zoomed portion of the central part of display with reticle above the live image. This function is extremely useful for observing a small object at a long distance. Thanks to the larger view of the reticle, you can aim in a more precise way. The core is equipped with a universal Prism allowing it to be installed on regular weapon rails. As an attachment, the core can be used with majority of day sights with lens diameters from 42mm to 56mm. A wide selection of reducing rings covers all diameters within this range. After the attachment is mounted on a day sight, the point of impact remains stable, so re-zeroing is not needed. As a monocular alone, the core is compact and light weight thermal unit perfect for observation at a distance of up to 1 KM. The unit has high resolution 640×480 Pixel, green display, which ensures comfortable perception and low eye fatigue. Increased recognition and detection software employed in the core unit contributes to a high quality crisp image. The core features three image calibration modes, including fully noiseless mode indispensable for hunting.
